Case Type Campaign Filter
You now have the ability to count visits from a specific case only.
There are a lot of clinics that would like to send specific campaigns based on specific cases and exclude visits from other cases within a patient's file.
IE: A Patient's Chiro Case has 2 Appts and the Patient's Massage case has 2 Appts. This equals 4 visits that the patient has come in for. In this situation, the system will naturally send a campaign to the patient that goes out at the 4 visit mark.
If you do not want the system to count ALL visits for ALL cases tied to a patient, this is how you designate what visits to count and from what Case.
- Step 1: Making sure the proper Case Types Needed Have Been Created
The specific "Case Type" has to be created and applied within a patient's case. THIS IS NOT THE CASE DESCRIPTION. This is the Case Type Selected within the Case Type Dropdown.
To create case types to select: Go to your Administration area -> List Manager -> Select "Case Type" within Drop Down -> ADD
If you see the needed case types already listed, you will not need to add them in again.
- Step 2: Tying the Case Types to a patients file
This step is important because if the case type is selected in your campaigns but, not added to the patient's case, they will not be picked up when sending the campaign.
Go to the patient's file -> Case Tab -> New to create a new case or Edit to edit an existing case -> Save.
- Step 3: Setting up the campaign to count VISITS from only ONE CASE.
You will go to Admin -> Campaigns -> Select created campaign -> Edit
Select the FILTERS tab at the top
Go to the Case Type Filter Box on the Right -> Select Include from 1st Drop-Down -> Choose Specific Case Type you are wanting Visits counted from in the 2nd and hit the +sign to the right to lock it in.
- Step 4: Ensuring only visits from this case are counted
Select the box that states "Only count visit number within SELECTED case type"
Again, this makes sure that visits from other cases tied to the patient are not counted when designating when a campaign should run by visit numbers.
- Step 5: Choosing the Proper Visit Filter for this Campaign
When the check box is selected, the visit filters that can be used are highlighted in GREEN. These are the ONLY options available when creating a campaign to count visits within a specific case.
