There are 2 reasons why a patient SOAP Notes are not copying over to the next appointment:
1) You have not told CoAction to copy SOAP notes from visit to visit
How to set up CoAction to copy from visit to visit:
- Go to Administration > Click on Providers
- Select the appropriate Provider > Click on Edit
- Click on SOAP Copying tab
- Select any or all sections you would like to copy from visit to visit
- Click on SAVE on bottom of page
2) You did not enter and save your SOAP notes in the patient visit before Checking In the next appointment in CoAction.
- Enter and Save your SOAP notes on your patient's current appointment, then Check Out before checking in the next scheduled appointment.
- Soap notes will not carry over from past appointment to another past appointment. You will need to manually enter the soap notes into the past appointments, and then once they are entered into the most recently completed visit, they will then start to carry over on the next scheduled and completed visit.
