This Action will Delete a Patient file from your Database Permanently!!
Sometimes there are instances where you notice a patient file duplicated in the Rolodex that was entered by an un-knowing party. This is a permanent Action, so PLEASE be sure when hitting the Delete button and Confirming the Deletion, the correct duplicate is selected.
**If there is appointment data, payments, etc. saved in the Duplicate file you want to delete, please follow these steps before choosing to Delete the Duplicate:

First, you will go to your Patient Rolodex
Second, you will select the Patient/s you would like to Delete.
You can select multiple if holding the CTRL button down on your keyboard while making your selections.
Once your selections are made, Right-Click a highlighted patient name and choose DELETE
Once Delete is Selected, you will receive a confirmation message making sure this is the action you would like to take. If you move forward this action CANNOT BE UNDONE and the patient file will be deleted.
Warning: This action can be reversed, but would incur a $500 fee as Programming would need involved
If you are missing a patient and are unsure if the patient has been deleted, you can check by going to the appointment book and searching for the patient within the rolodex. Alternatively, you can go to OTC within your CoAction toolbar, select 'Link to an existing patient', and search for the patient.
If you see them with a RED LINE through their name, a user deleted the patient.
If you log out and back in, you will no longer see them appear this way and their name will be gone from your Rolodex.
