Before contacting Fortis Support, please make sure:
- You have Chrome or Mozilla as your computers default browser
- You are on Fortis version V20.25.0 or higher
- All Cache is cleared within the browser
To clear Cache in Chrome:
Open Chrome: Launch the Google Chrome browser on your computer.
Access the Menu: Click the three vertical dots (More options) in the top right corner of the browser window.
Settings: Go to "Settings" in the menu.
Privacy and Security: Click on Privacy and Security and select Delete Browsing data
Basic: Under the Basic option
Choose Time Range: Select the time range for which you want to clear the data. For a complete cache clear, choose "All time".
Select Data Types: Check the boxes next to "Browsing History," "Cached images and files," and "Cookies and other site data".
Clear the Data: Click the "Delete data" button.
When clearing Cache, it can take some time so, this should be performed during lunch or after office is closed to prevent issues with using your software or Processing payments as no actions can take place during that time. If you are using another browser and are unsure of the steps, click here and walk through the steps for your default browser.
If these steps do not correct the issue, you must contact Fortis Support @ 855-465-9999 for them to research or provide additional options to try.
