The Credit forward area allows you to bring a credit in, for a patient, from your previous software for reasons such as pre-payment for care, supplements purchased but, have not received etc.
This credit does not show as new revenue within the financial reports because it is technically being tracked by your previous system.
To enter a Credit Forward:
Go to the patients file -> Leger Tab -> Payments Tab -> Credit Forward Button
You will now enter the Credit details. Date Transferred ( this will show as the payment posting date), Patient Credit amount and any comments you would like to attach
Suggestions for comments are date, type or amount of original payment etc.
Once finished select Save.
The Credit Forward amount entered will now display showing all details entered. On the left hand side of the file, credits will always display blue and balances will always be red.
If there was a mistake, select the Credit Forward and hit Delete.
